Day 1-10 secretsDay 2- 9 lovesDay 3- 8 fears, Day 4- 7 wantsDay 5- 6 placesDay 6- 5 foodsDay 7- 4 books, Day 8- 3 films, Day 9- 2 songs, Day 10- 1 photo of yourself

It was equally as hard coming up with 10, 9 or 8 things earlier in this blog series as it is to narrow it down to 4, 3 or 2 things now!

1} Breakfast at Tiffany's. My most favorite film of all time. Holly Golightly is such a lovely character, you can't help but love her through her faults, and find charm in her inadequacies. Audrey Hepburn gives this movie life! Truman Capote wrote the short story this film was based on, and had Marilyn Monroe in mind to play Holly. I think that would have given Holly's call girl job a less than savory feel, while Audrey Hepburn is nothing but class, even knowing the suspect nature of how she comes into money. $50 for the powder room?
True story, because this is my favorite film, and I love the song Moon River so much, I found an instrumental classical guitar version of it to use as I walked down the aisle at my wedding!
Really great movie review through this link

2} Easy A. Aside from #1 above, I don't have too many favorite movies, but I do like a lot. Easy A is funny, has a good moral to the story, great acting from Emma Stone {hello, girl crush!} and is down right cutesy at times. I defintely think it's a classic in the making, and many young girls will be naming it as a favorite 12 years down the line, like I do about #3 below!

3} 10 Things I Hate About You. I have probably seen this movie as many times as Breakfast at Tiffany's, so it's safe to say it's a favorite. Like B@T, I have also owned it both on VHS and DVD :) 10 Things is based on Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. There are many Shakespearean allusions made throughout, such as Patrick's last name being Verona, the high school being called Padua, and many references made by characters, "I burn, I pine, I perish!". This was my first introduction to Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles, with some very familiar faces as well. I just love how snotty Kat is in contrast to how vain Bianca is. So much to like about this classic from my youth!
